Default Difficulty in using the Pop-Up Menu Creator

Help please!

I have followed the instructions given with the Trial Version of Menu Creator.
I compiled my choice of Menu, reviewed with the "External Preview" and having been satisfied with the result I then pasted the code into my "index.htm" page as well as copying all the files given in the "Pop-Up Menu Projects" Folder to the local Site and then uploaded the lot up to the correct directory on my Web Site, but all I get is a blank page.

Any ideas anyone?

Lockhands.

Hi,

I assume you are using version 5.
If yes, then if you have left the menu remote directory setting to default you need to place the menu files in a folder named "popup" under your web pages root directory.
If you provide the web page URL I will be able to provide more speccific instructions.

You can send the URL via a Private Message if you wish to keep it private.

Default Menu does not move when the main page is scrolled

I'm over the first hurdle and can now get the page with menu on my site, but I thought that the menu should move down as the page is scrolled. Is this correct? If it is, am I still doing something wrong?

Cheers,

Lockhands.

Hi,

Did you enable autoscroll from the menu properties?
To do this, you have to click on the menu you wish to enable autoscroll for and then click on the AutoScroll Options.

If this is enabled and the menu does not scroll I'll need the URL for the page to see what's going on.

Default Menu Scrollin'

Thanks Lefteris,

I have made sure that AutoScroll has been enabled, but still no joy.

The URL is:-

http://www.musicwebvideo.co.uk/index.htm

I have also included a picture of the relevant PopUp Menu Page on the "index page" to show that this function has been enabled. I hope you can do some magic for me again.

Cheers,

Lockhands.

Hi,

This is a small bug of the current version which I discovered yesterday.
It only happens in IE browsers and it will be addressed in the next release.

Thanks again Lefteris,

I have the same problem in both IE and Firefox.

Is this the same bug?

Cheers,

Lockhands.

Hi,

Try replacing the rp5.js file on your server with the attached file and see if this solves the problem in these 2 browsers.
Attached Files
File Type: zip rp5.zip (13.4 KB, 2 views)
